Feng Chia University Researcher Invited by Taichung Land Administration Bureau to Share Best Practices in Sustainability Governance

Researcher Shih-Ching Liu of the Office of Sustainability at Feng Chia University, who also serves as a faculty member in the Department of International Business, was invited by the Taichung City Government Land Administration Bureau on August 4 to serve as a keynote speaker for the training program titled “Sustainability Development Training: Public-Private Collaboration Strategies and SDG Value Creation.” The event brought together personnel from the Land Administration Bureau and land offices across Taichung City to discuss sustainability governance concepts and practical experiences in public-private collaboration.

15 students from the College of Business at Feng Chia University, led by Dean Chiung-Ju Huang and Professor Giorgio, embarked on a two-week overseas learning journey in Italy. Traveling across the cities of Milan, Modena, and Turin, the program connected students with three leading European universities and offered firsthand exposure to internationally renowned companies such as Ferrari and Maserati. Through immersive cross-cultural experiences, students gained practical insights into the power of design thinking and brand innovation.

“Passing the Flame”: FCU Student Organization Inauguration and Leadership Handover Ceremony Marks a New Chapter of Student Leadership

Feng Chia University held its Academic Year 2025–26 Student Organization Inauguration and Leadership Handover Ceremony, themed“Passing the Flame,” on June 14. The event opened with faculty advisors and student committee leaders making creative entrances alongside the organizations they mentor. Vice President Kuo-Hao Tang encouraged all student leaders to embrace the ceremony’s theme, emphasizing that leadership transitions represent not only the transfer of responsibility, but also the passing on of experience, values, and passion. He expressed confidence that incoming leaders would build upon the achievements of their predecessors, continue to innovate, and guide their organizations toward new milestones while keeping the spirit of student organizations alive across generations.

FCU Team Wins 2026 Central Taiwan Cross-border E-commerce Competition

The 2026 Central Taiwan Cross-border E-commerce Competition, jointly organized by Feng Chia University’s Intelligent Cross-border E-commerce Innovation Research Center and the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei (IEAT), held its final round at Feng Chia University on June 14. The event was inaugurated by Professor Chin-Yi Chen, Dean of Research and Development at Feng Chia University. The FCU team “International Sleepers” from the Department of International Business claimed the championship title.

International Students Shine in Chinese Speech and Singing Competition: “AI and Me” Takes Center Stage

The Center for General Education and the International Freshman Program (PMP) held the final round of the 2026 Seventh International Student Chinese Speech and Singing Competition on May 22 at the Ninth International Conference Hall, with the event also streamed live online. A total of 76 students from 19 academic departments and eight countries—Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea, Germany, the United States, and Burkina Faso—registered for the competition.

FCU International Business Team Wins Runner-Up and Four Individual Awards at 2026 Central Taiwan Management Case Competition

The Department of International Business at Feng Chia University achieved an impressive result in its first-ever participation in the 2026 Central Taiwan College Management Case Competition. Led by Assistant Professor Chieh-Sheng Lin, a team of students ranging from sophomores to seniors—Kai-Ting Lai, Tzu-Chen Lin, Wei-Chi Huang, Yu-Chen Lin, Chien-Ching Su, Ping-Feng Chou, and Ting-Wei Tsai—competed at Tunghai University on May 2 and earned second place in the team competition.
