When I first entered Feng Chia University, I was just a freshman in the Department of Foreign Languagesamd Literature. After a blink of an eye, I realized that I had experienced several times of "trying the limit, suddenly failing, reborn" in college.Cheerful personality prompts me to have the ability to constantly try, challenge the limit and escape the comfort zone. During my schooling, I served as a teaching assistant for Chinese language teachers in the School of Social Innovation (s.School), the leader of the music and sound effects team for the graduation performance of the DFLL, and the Feng Chia AIESEC President, preparing for the summer online SDGs flash mob course, participating in Feng Chia University's music stage life theater practical course and the brilliant blueprint held by the extracurricular activity group, after experiencing countless challenges, he is more determined to become a Taiwanese youth who wants to change the world.

In the second semester of my freshman year, I participated in the Darenshow event held by the extracurricular activities group. Darenshow is a group competition held for freshmen. Each department selects the strongest candidate to participate in the competition according to the theme of the year. The theme at that time was "interpreting a movie or any well-known drama", and I imitated the theme song of the movie "A Star Is Born" under the arrangement of my senior sister. This was the first time I sang with others in an official competition, and it was also my first competition in college, but my performance was not as expected because I was too nervous. In every game after that, I would tell myself, "When you are fully prepared, enjoy yourself on the court, because at that moment, you are the most confident!"

The graduation performance of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature was the biggest reason for me to join the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature in Feng Chia. I have learned piano for nearly 12 years, I know more about music than others, so I joined the music and sound effect group without hesitation. During the time in the music sound effect group, in addition to cultivating my sensitivity to music, I also learned to use the music software Logic Pro to modify, edit or find suitable soundtracks. In the first half month of the performance, the music and sound effects team cooperated with the actors to enter the song points, discuss which actions of the actors can be matched with the sound effects, or what kind of music is suitable for the scene at that time, or rehearse with the lighting team repeatedly, just to present the perfect lighting and sound effects .

Can only graduates participate in the graduation performance?

No. I am very happy that I was able to complete the 17th graduation performance with my senior sister in my junior year. This performance felt the changeability of literature, and at the same time opened up my imagination and curiosity about stage practice.

Rebirth after sudden failure

At the beginning of this year, I was very happy that I was able to realize my dream of becoming an actor. However, the rehearsal process was not as smooth as I imagined. The change of singing breath has also undergone many adjustments, and the frustration is doubled during rehearsal. I can't figure out the role or can't change the mood of the performance. But the teacher told me that theater is a workplace, you can’t choose what to do, but you can face every challenge bravely. In the past, I was always afraid of failure and challenges, so I decided to work hard, carefully recall every instruction from the teachers, and adjust my singing style and body movements; the most important thing is to return to myself, find the common ground between myself and the role, and make You and your characters are reborn and become even more dazzling.

Teaching Assistant for Program of Chinese

Joining the Chinese Teacher Program was the most beautiful accident. At that time, I got the information from the Facebook page of the School of Social Innovation and found it interesting and fresh, so I joined. Although those who have relevant experience in Chinese teaching can be given priority in recruiting teaching assistants, even if they do not have relevant course experience or teaching experience in the process, as long as they are willing to spend some time on self-study, it is really not difficult, and they can even improve their Chinese ability!

In the learning stage, the transformation after a fall is definitely far greater than the cost of the fall.
